Moto Lita
Moto Lita has a range of distinctively British style wood leather rim steering wheels, designs which have stood the test of time and still being produced today. Over the years there have been many attempts by other steering wheel manufacturers to copy the original Moto-Lita designs, but no one has managed to equal the quality.
The very first customer was a friend Mr Alfred Moss, the father of Stirling Moss who ran British Racing Partnerships. Shortly after this contracts were secured with AC, Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Jensen, MG Car Co, Rolls Royce, Shelby and many more. However, the larger part of production did and still does go to the after market on a World Wide basis.
Nowadays, the Moto-Lita factory is situated on the famous Thruxton Racing Circuit in Hampshire and the production methods have changed little since the early days, most of the work still being done entirely by hand, including one off special wheels costing from £500.00 upwards.
