Exclusively and completely hand made in Germany, the outstanding product features of all RECARO racing shells are down to a unique construction, use of the highest quality materials and excellent finishing processes.
Two special materials are used to produce the typical and often imitated moulds of the RECARO seats: high strength, glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) and ultra-light Carbon-Kevlar, which achieves the highest possible strength through its structure.
Like all safety-relevant components, the finishing techniques tried and tested in aircraft manufacture are subjected to the most rigorous testing as well as a secondary thermal treatment.
